Robert Boroff

Biography

Rob is a partner in the Cleveland, Ohio office and defends domestic and international motor carriers, freight brokers, logistics providers, rail services companies, transportation network companies, and rideshare companies against catastrophic commercial transportation accidents and cargo loss claims. With nearly two decades of experience, Rob is a skilled litigator with experience trying cases to verdict in Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. He is national counsel for some of the largest trucking and freight brokerage companies in the nation and routinely assists clients in drafting and reviewing transportation, broker-carrier, and shipper-broker agreements.

Rob is a member of the firm's Transportation & Logistics Service Group and Rapid Response Team, which is tasked with immediately responding to accident scenes for the purpose of investigating and evaluating catastrophic losses. Rob has coordinated and performed hundreds of rapid responses throughout Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Oregon.

Rob’s practice also includes telecommunications litigation and defending manufacturers, general contracts, and subcontractors against construction defect, breach of contract, commercial dispute, and personal injury claims.
